The juice groove is a channel that surrounds the perimeter of the entire cutting board to help retain liquids. We offer that extra on our M and L size cutting boards.

Only available upon request, there are no boards with this extra in stock.

If there are boards of the size you want in stock, the preparation time is one week, otherwise it is the usual 2-4 weeks (variable depending on our order volume).

Exception: Our CHROMA cutting board comes by default with juice groove and may have stock.

Tabla de cortar con ranura de jugo

The use of legs solves most of the problems associated with the use of cutting boards.

1. They prevent the contact of the back face of the board with wet surfaces. Facilitating its maintenance and extending its life.

2. They allow the board to be correctly wedged and prevent it from slipping on the top, increasing safety and comfort in use.

3. They make the manipulation of the board easier.

Wood is a fibrous and porous organic material. Exposure to high temperatures and contact with aggressive agents such as caustic soda deteriorates and deforms it. In addition, the adhesives and resins used lose their adhesion and cracks may appear in the board.

The board should always be washed by hand with warm water and dried immediately to ensure a long service life. For more maintenance tips visit the Care and Maintenance page.

With this, we ensure the correct ventilation of the back face of the board and avoid its overexposure to possible wet surfaces.
In the event that the board undergoes any kind of movement, the legs are an essential resource to keep the board wedged and ensure its stability during use.
All our products, unless otherwise specified, are 100% suitable for food contact and their use as a cutting board does not generate residues hazardous to health.

All materials used, including adhesives (Titebond III), oils (Mineral Oil, Rubio Monocoat and Osmo Topoil), waxes (Beeswax and Carnauba wax) and resins (Epoxyfood) are food grade.
