AI Editorial Policy

Editorial Policy on the Use of AI

1. Purpose of this policy

At Ligna.es we use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to support certain content creation processes, with the aim of improving editorial efficiency without compromising the quality, accuracy or consistency of our communication. All content published on the website is subject to human monitoring and validation prior to publication.

2. Scope of application

This policy applies to content posted on Ligna.es, including, but not limited to:

  • Blog articles.
  • Informative texts from the website.
  • Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
  • Translation into other languages

The visual and graphic content of the website, including illustrations, infographics, icons, and other design resources, is created entirely manually by our designer and not using generative AI tools.

3. Use of AI in content

Ligna.es uses AI tools solely to support the following:

  • Prepare initial drafts of articles and texts.
  • Propose content structures, headings, or preliminary approaches.
  • Suggest improvements to writing, readability, or style.
  • Translation of content into other languages

AI does not publish content on its own or make editorial decisions. Its use is limited to previous phases of support for the newsroom, and always within a process supervised by people responsible for the content.

4. Human review and control

All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited and, where appropriate, rewritten by the team responsible for Ligna.es before being published. The purpose of this review is:

  • Verify the accuracy of the information.
  • Ensure consistency with the tone and style of the brand.
  • Correct any errors, inaccuracies, or generic statements.
  • To guarantee that the final content meets criteria of usefulness, quality and editorial responsibility.

The ultimate responsibility for any content published lies exclusively with the Ligna.es team.

5. Editorial strategy and publication

Ligna.es’s content strategy, including thematic planning, SEO analysis, keyword selection, and defining the editorial calendar, is done by an SEO professional using specialized tools such as Semrush and other analytics resources. There is no AI-based publishing automation.

6. Usage Limits

Ligna.es does not use AI to:

  • Publish content automatically without human review.
  • Generate graphic or visual content of the website.
  • Inventing testimonies, data, cases or unverified statements.
  • To process personal information of users or customers in an automated way in the editorial process.

7. Transparency and updating

Ligna.es maintains this policy in order to clearly inform about the responsible use of AI tools in its editorial process. This policy may be updated to adapt to regulatory, technological or internal operational changes related to the use of artificial intelligence.
